In the class, students were complaining to each other because of where they were from. As they said, it is better to find better job in Australia.
I was asked, “How about Japan?”, and I said “Maybe wage and work environment in Australia is better than in Japan, but for me personally, I started own company here in Perth, so it doesn’t really matter where you are from. You may stay here with student visa, if you have student visa, you can establish your company and it’s not illegal. If you have something you really want to do, Just go ahead, right now.” They became quiet.

The other discussion, CEO is taking money too much. I said “Yes, that’s true, but I think CEO is clever, better and might be woking harder than us. CEO also works really efficiently. If you become CEO, you will probably have 100 or 1,000 times of larger stress.”
Before you make complaints, try to do something you need or want. If you want to be CEO, that’ll be easy, because you can have own company from just $1.

After the class, couple of students came to me to ask how to start my company. In my case, I’ve been really lucky with people who helped me. They said “See? you have luck that’s why.” then I said “Luck is made by your effort.” That’s nice word, isn’t it? ha ha
I started IT company, so I didn’t need big initial cost or capital. Yeah, if wanna start Cafe or something, you need money at the beginning.
However, if you don’t have any skill, you can have idea. If you have idea, you can do whatever you want.
If you don’t really have any skill at all, regret how lazy you have been in your life and will get any skill. It’s never been too late.

今日の授業で生徒たちが自分の出身国の不遇をぶつけあっていた。やはりオーストラリアでは自国よりいい仕事につけるからだそうだ。
日本はどうだ？と来たからオーストラリアの方が賃金等々いいかも知れないが、自分は自身で会社を始めているから、どこの国の生まれだろうと関係ないだろうと言った。
学生Visaでいるんだろうから、学生Visaなら会社を興すことができますよ、と。違法ではないことは調べました、と。
本当にやりたいことがあるならすぐに始めればいいと伝えた。しーん、としてしまった。
他の議論ではCEOがお金を取りすぎだ、と言っていたので、確かに不要な所得はいかんけど、恐らくCEOはここにいる皆より優秀だからCEOなんですよ。仕事も出来るんだと思いますよって言ってやった。文句を積み上げる前にまず何かをやってみるほうがいいですね。CEOにだってなりたければすぐなれるよ。$1から株式会社作れるんだから。

授業が終わった後、何人かがどうやって会社を始めたのか聞きに来た。自分は周囲に恵まれて運があったから出来たんだよと言いました。やっぱり運があったんじゃん！と言われてしまいましたので、運というのは努力している人についてくるものだと思うよ、と我ながらいい言葉を残してしまった。
あなたはITだから初期投資がかからなかった、とか言われた。確かにCafeでも始めようものなら初期投資も必要だし色々大変だろう。
でも、特殊なスキルがなくたって、アイデアがあるだろう。アイデアがあれば何でも出来る。
本当に何にもスキルがないなら、それまで怠惰に生きてきた自分を反省し、大急ぎで何かを身につければいい。遅すぎることなんてない。
