I get that a lot : よく言われるんだよね

I watched TV show which celebrities pretend to be normal people to work in somewhere.
E.g. Jessica Simpson in Computer shop, Leann Rime in Cafe, just like that.

Customer definitely asks them who they are, then they say “I get that a lot” which is also title of TV.
This sentence can not be Japanese and it’s rally interesting expression from Japanese view.

アメリカのTV番組で芸能人本人が普通のお店で働くどっきりみたいのをやっていた。
ジェシカシンプソンがコンピュータショップにいたり。リアンライムスがCafeにいたり、とそんな感じです。

お客さんに絶対本人かどうか聞かれるわけですが、聞かれると「I get that a lot」とTVのタイトルにもなっている言葉で返します。この場合で訳すなら「よく言われるんだよね」ってことですが、いやあ、英語って面白い表現ですね。
